Overview

Prepare students to safely and confidently navigate the digital world. Ignition: Digital Wellbeing and Safety builds key digital literacy skills to help students take practical steps to protect their own privacy and safety and learn how to critically consume the media they are exposed to online. The course encourages students to appreciate the benefits of digital communication, while equipping them with the skills they need to navigate potential pitfalls and build healthy and positive digital experiences.

Ignition teaches students about digital dependency, online privacy, and how to evaluate content for accuracy, perspective, and motive. It builds essential digital literacy and wellbeing skills to help students participate safely in the digital world.
