We created the Design a Bag competition as part of Get Set to Eat Fresh, a healthy eating programme from Aldi and Team GB. Pupils aged 7–16 were challenged to develop a bag design for a new Aldi Bag for Life – with the winning designs being made and sold in store. By the closing date, we had received over 32,000 entries from pupils across the country. In support of the competition, we created curriculum-linked lesson plans for teachers to use in school and developed a multi-channel marketing and PR campaign, to raise awareness and broaden the conversation around nutrition, healthy eating and sustainability in schools.
